Watchlists in Portfolio Manager vs. Investor

Learn the differences between watchlists in Portfolio Manager vs. Investor.

Key similarities and differences

In Investor, watchlists track investment ideas or securities that you don't currently own. They can also be used to compare two or more securities using custom views you create. Unlike with Portfolio Manager, watchlists in Investor are not meant to track investments you already own, and you will not be asked to include the number of shares or price information.

You can create up to 25 watchlists in legacy Portfolio Manager; in Investor, you can create as many watchlists as you like. Watchlists you’ve created in legacy Portfolio Manager will not be mirrored in Investor.
