Stellantis Close to Buying 20% of Chinese EV Company Leapmotor, Bloomberg Reports
-- Stellantis is nearing a deal to buy around 20% of Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology, a Chinese electric-vehicle maker, Bloomberg reported citing unnamed sources.
-- The stake could be valued at more than $1 billion, Bloomberg reported.
-- The Netherlands-based maker of Jeep, Dodge and a dozen other brands are also considering a joint venture for car sales outside of China, Bloomberg reported, adding that an announcement could be made within a few days.
