More From Erin Lash

Management’s move to focus the business is constraining near-term growth, but bodes well for long-term profitability, writes Morningstar’s Erin Lash.

Slimming bloated operations and reinvesting in its solid portfolio of brands will drive more balanced top-line growth and profit improvement for this packaged-goods firm.

We’re lowering our fair value estimate for Procter & Gamble due to the negative impact of currencies, but the firm’s underlying business is gaining traction and shares look modestly undervalued.
