Bulls Say, Bears Say

Bulls

The company will be a net beneficiary of higher interest rates as it can reinvest its maturing fixed-income securities at a higher yield.

Bears

Prudential offers a wide range of complex insurance products that expose it to underwriting, investment, capital market, and interest-rate risks thereby making it difficult to predict the company’s overall risk exposure, especially during periods of economic turbulence.
