Pentair Earnings: Ahead of Pace to Reach 2026 Margin Target

We’ve raised our fair value estimate for narrow-moat-rated Pentair to $82 from $78 after the company reported solid second-quarter results and raised its full-year adjusted earnings per share guidance to the top end of the previous $4.15 to $4.25 range. Our fair value adjustment is driven by our slightly higher midcycle margin assumption and time value of money, partially offset by our more muted near-term revenue growth expectations.
