Effective July 1, 2024, Eric Liu replaced Jason Long as a non-US-focused comanager on Harris Associates Global All Cap Equity (which includes the US-domiciled Oakmark Global and its Luxembourg-domiciled sibling). Long will subsequently work to transition his research responsibilities and then leave the firm on Sept. 1, 2024. Long rejoined Harris Associates in 2011 (he was previously with the firm between 2004 and 2006) and was a listed manager here since November 2016, but his departure is surprising given he's in the prime of his career (he has 24 years of experience).
