Stericycle Shares Rise Premarket on Report of Buyout Deal

Stericycle shares moved higher in premarket trading Monday after The Wall Street Journal reported that the medical-waste-disposal company is near a deal to be acquired by Waste Management for around $7 billion, including debt.
Stericycle, based in Bannockburn, Ill., sports a market capitalization of roughly $4.8 billion based on Friday's closing price of $51.54.
The company's shares were recently up more than 12% to $57.95 in premarket trading.
A deal could be announced as early as Monday, the Journal reports.
