Microsoft Boosts Dividend, Authorizes Up to $60 Billion of Buybacks

Microsoft, which has often announced dividend increases in September, said it will raise its quarterly payout to 83 cents from 75 cents.

The company also said its board authorized up to $60 billion of new stock repurchases Monday.
