Hermes Considers Entering Haute Couture, FT Reports
--Hermes doesn't rule out the possibility of pushing into haute couture, the Financial Times reports, citing quotes from an interview with the company's chief executive, Axel Dumas.
--Haute couture consists of exclusive custom-fitted high-end fashion creations.
--The CEO of the company known for its high-end accessories such as the Birkin bag said Hermes would not follow the footsteps of some of its peers that have made forays into eyewear, travel or hospitality, the FT reports.
