Vodafone Italy CEO Aldo Bisio to Step Down
By Najat Kantouar
Vodafone Group said that Vodafone Italy's Chief Executive Officer Aldo Bisio will step down on Nov. 15 to pursue an external opportunity.
The U.K. telecom company said Thursday that current Chief Financial Officer Sabrina Casalta will be appointed as interim chief executive from Nov. 15 through to the completion of the sale of Vodafone Italy.
Bisio will remain a nonexecutive member of the board of directors of Vodafone Italy to oversee the regulatory approval process of the sale of the Italian business to Swisscom.
