Lonza CEO Pierre-Alain Ruffieux to Leave
By Adria Calatayud
Lonza Group Chief Executive Pierre-Alain Ruffieux will leave the company, and Chairman Albert M. Baehny will step in as interim CEO until a permanent successor is appointed, the company said Monday.
Ruffieux will leave the company at the end of September by mutual agreement, having been in the role since November 2020, the Swiss life-sciences company said.
Lonza said it will hold a capital-markets day as planned on Oct. 17, where it will discuss its medium-term strategy and outlook.
