Assa Abloy Buys Door Lock and Padlock Manufacturer in Peru

STOCKHOLM--Assa Abloy said it has acquired Forte, a residential door lock and padlock manufacturer in Peru.
The Swedish lock maker said on Thursday that Forte was founded in 1967 and has some 340 employees. Its main office and factory are located in Lima, Peru, and it reported sales of around 67 million Peruvian nuevo soles ($17.8 million) in 2022.
The acquisition will be accretive to earnings per share from the start, it said.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
