Uber, Jabil, Builders FirstSource to Join S&P 500
By Ben Glickman
Uber Technologies, Jabil and Builders FirstSource will join the S&P 500, S&P Global said Friday.
The three will replace Sealed Air, Alaska Air Group and SolarEdge Technologies in the index, respectively.
Uber became eligible for inclusion in the index after recording two consecutive quarters of operating profit.
S&P Global said the changes would become effective prior to the start of trading on Dec. 18 and are meant to ensure each index is representative of its market capitalization range.
