Masdar Mulls Stake in Iberdrola's U.S. Renewable Assets, Bloomberg Reports
--UAE-based renewable-energy company Masdar is considering acquiring a stake in U.S. onshore renewable assets owned by Spain's Iberdrola, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.
--Considerations are at an early stage and there is no certainty a of a deal, according to Bloomberg.
--Iberdrola said Masdar is an important strategic partner but that it hasn't received any official approach for a stake in its U.S. renewables projects.
--Masdar wasn't immediately available for comment when approached by Dow Jones Newswires.
