Saint-Gobain to Acquire The Bailey Group of Companies for $648.6 Million

Saint-Gobain said it will acquire The Bailey Group of Companies in a move to expand its light-construction offering in Canada.
The French manufacturer said Wednesday that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Canadian manufacturer for $648.6 million in cash.
When approved, the acquisition will include all divisions of The Bailey Group, Bailey Metal Products, Bailey Metal Processing, and Agway Metal, it said.
The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2024.
