KBC Group Fiance Chief Luc Popelier Resigns, Bartel Puelinckx Tapped

KBC Group appointed Bartel Puelinckx as its new chief financial officer, replacing Luc Popelier who is resigning.
The Belgian financial-services company said Tuesday that Puelinckx--currently its chief compliance officer--will take on the role on Sept. 1, subject to approvals. He will also join the executive committee.
Popelier--who had been CFO since 2021 and also between 2011 and 2017--is leaving the group to become the chief executive of Germany's Hamburg Commercial Bank, the group added.
