Becton Dickinson Names Michael Feld President of Life-Sciences Segment
By Colin Kellaher
Becton Dickinson has hired Michael Feld as executive vice president and president of its life-sciences segment, effective Aug. 20.
Becton Dickinson on Monday said Feld joins the Franklin Lakes, N.J., medical-technology company from Danaher spinoff Veralto, where he was most recently president of the Hach water-quality products business.
Becton Dickinson's life-sciences segment accounted for $1.26 billion of the company's fiscal third-quarter revenue of nearly $5 billion.
The company earlier this year said David Hickey, who had been executive vice president and president of the life-sciences segment, was retiring.
