Disney Names Jared Bush as Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios
By Sabela Ojea
Disney said it named filmmaker Jared Bush as the new chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, overseeing films, series and associated projects.
The company on Thursday said the appointment of Bush, the director of Oscar-winning animated film Encanto, means that Jennifer Lee will return to filmmaking full time to direct and write Frozen 3 and write Frozen 4 with Marc Smith.
Lee had served as chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios from 2018. Clark Spencer will remain as president of Walt Disney Animation Studios, the company added.
