El Pollo Loco CEO Laurance Roberts leaving the company

El Pollo Loco Holdings on Thursday said its president and chief executive, Laurance Roberts, is leaving the restaurant chain.
El Pollo Loco (LOCO) said Maria Hollandsworth, currently chief operating officer, will step in as interim president and CEO while the Costa Mesa, Calif.-based company conducts a search for a new chief.
El Pollo Loco said Roberts, who became president and CEO in March 2022 after a stint as interim CEO, will continue to provide consulting services to the company through Dec. 28.
