Tempur Sealy expects acquisition of Mattress Firm to close in mid to late 2024
Tempur Sealy International Inc. (TPX) said Monday it expects to close the acquisition of Mattress Firm in mid to late 2024. as soon as all regulatory approvals have been received. The Lexington, Ky.-based mattress company made the statement as it certified substantial compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's second request for documents and other information related to the deal. Tempur Sealy announced its $4 billion acquisition of privately held Mattress Firm in May. The stock has gained 15% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 17.6%.
