For broader exposure to the U.S. market for new home construction, there are several exchange-traded funds to consider. These include the iShares U.S. Home Construction ETF ITB, which holds 45 stocks, and the SPDR S&P Homebuilders ETF XHB, which holds 34 stocks. Along with home builders, both of these ETFs invest in suppliers to the residential construction industry.
