Dominion Energy Sees Higher 3Q Adjusted EPS Vs. 2Q

Dominion Energy forecasts sequential earnings growth in the third quarter.

The electric services company expects third-quarter adjusted earnings per share of 72 cents to 87 cents, below analysts expectations of $1.09 according to FactSet.

The electric-services company closed the second quarter with adjusted earnings per share of 53 cents.

Dominion Energy's outlook comes as it swings to a profit in the second quarter, driven by lower operating costs.
