Vestas Gets Unconditional Order for Polish Offshore Project

Vestas Wind Systems said Thursday that a previously announced conditional agreement to deliver wind turbines for the Baltic Power offshore wind project in Poland has now been made firm and unconditional.
The 1.14 gigawatt order comprises 76 V236-15.0 megawatt turbines and includes supply, installation, commissioning and a 15-year service agreement.
Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected in 2026.
Baltic Power is a joint venture between Orlen and Northland Power.
