The world's second-largest memory-chip maker will invest an estimated $3.87 billion in West Lafayette, Indiana to build an advanced packaging fabrication and R&D facility for AI products. Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb's office said the state offered SK Hynix up to $554 million in tax rebates. SK Hynix plans to start mass production there in the second half of 2028.
