WHO Likely to Issue Wider Warning About J&J Cough Syrup Contamination, Reuters Reports
--The World Health Organization is likely to issue a broader warning about contaminated children's cough syrup made by Johnson & Johnson, Reuters reports, citing an email.
--Nigerian regulators recalled some Benylin cough syrup last week after finding high levels of diethylene glycol, Reuters says
--The contaminated batch was made by J&J in May 2021, though Benylin is now owned by Kenvue after a spin-off, according to Reuters.
--J&J referred requests for comment to Kenvue, which said it had carried out tests on the batch without finding diethylene glycol and was working with health authorities, Reuters reports.
