Vestas Gets Conditional Order for Offshore Project With 1 Gigawatt-Plus Capacity

Vestas Wind Systems has received a conditional order to supply turbines for an offshore wind power project in northern Europe, it said.
The project has two construction phases and will have a combined total capacity of more than 1 gigawatt, it said Friday.
The names of the project and customer weren't disclosed and Vestas said it will disclose further details if and when the agreement translates into firm and unconditional orders.
