Honeywell Raises 2024 Outlook After Closing Deal with Carrier Global

Honeywell International raised its sales outlook for 2024 after completing its acquisition of Carrier Global's Global Access Solutions business.
The industrial-software maker now sees sales between $38.5 billion and $39.3 billion in 2024, up from the prior outlook in the range of $38.1 billion and $38.9 billion. It also guided for adjusted earnings per-share between $10.15 and $10.45 in the year compared with a prior forecast in the range of $9.80 to $10.10 a share.
Honeywell also issued an outlook for the second quarter. The company called for sales between $9.3 billion and $9.6 billion as well as adjusted earnings per-share in the range of $2.35 and $2.45.
Honeywell on Monday noted its acquisition of Carrier Global's Global Access Solutions business for $4.95 billion positions it as a provider of security solutions and strengthens its alignments of its portfolio around three megatrends, including automation.
