General Dynamics Gets C$2.58 Billion Canadian Military Pact With Partner

A General Dynamics unit and its joint-venture partner Marshall Canada were awarded a contract from the Canadian Armed Forces worth 2.58 billion Canadian dollars ($1.88 billion).
The pact, awarded to General Dynamics unit General Dynamics Land Systems, is for delivering more than 1,000 light trucks and about 500 heavy trucks along with associated equipment.
The project is being awarded as one contract for vehicle acquisition, valued around C$1.5 billion, and one for in-service support, worth up to C$1.08 billion over 25 years.
