GE Aerospace coverage initiated with buy rating at Vertical Research Partners
Vertical Research Partners has initiated coverage of GE Aerospace (GE) with a buy rating following the spinoff of GE Vernova Inc. (GEV) this week. "The principal appeal of the newly streamlined GE is its leading aero engine business," wrote Vertical Research Partners analyst Robert Stallard, in a note released Thursday. "It has a dominant market share in narrowbodies at 75%+, and a similarly strong position in widebodies." GE Aerospace shares are up 0.4% in premarket trades Thursday after ending Wednesday's session up 6.7%. Of 19 analysts surveyed by FactSet, 13 have an overweight or buy rating, and six have a hold rating for GE Aerospace.
